Akzeptabilität ist ein, wenn nicht DAS zentrale empirische Konzept der Grammatikforschung. Wir setzen uns im Seminar damit auseinander, was unter der Akzeptabilität eines sprachlichen Ausdrucks verstanden wird, und wie sich das Verständnis von Akzeptabilität in der Geschichte der Linguistik entwickelt hat. Wir werden uns anschauen, welche Methoden der Akzeptabilitätsmessung für die verschiedenen Teilbereiche der Grammatik (Morphologie, Syntax, Semantik, Phonologie) verwendet werden und auf welchen Theorien sie beruhen. Außerdem wird es darum gehen. welche außersprachlichen Faktoren Akzeptabilität beeinflussen können.
