392246 ISY Project: High spatial density tactile sensor (Pj) (SoSe 2020)

Contents, comment

Be part of creating one of the highest spatial density tactile (touch/force) sensitive arrays for future robotic applications. The task is to program a Microchip PIC32MX microcontroller in C programming language to read out an 5x5 array of tactile sensor chips over SPI bus and to communicate the sampled data with neighbouring tactile modules and a PC.
The project is best suited as an individual project, but could also be tackled by a small team with up to 2 students.

Requirements for participation, required level

Knowledge and some experience of C programming language is mandatory; previous experience with microcontroller programming will be helpful.
