Im Fokus dieser Veranstaltung steht die Dateninterpretation mit Grounded Theory und deren Weiterentwicklung, der Situational Analysis nach Adele Clarke. Sie lernen also exemplarisch ein Verfahren zur Datenerhebung sowie eine methodische Herangehensweise zur Interpretation qualitativer Daten kennen und wenden es in einem eigenen Forschungsprojekt an.
Ursprünglich war die Arbeit mit leitfadengestützten Interviews vorgesehen. Diese Form der Datenerhebung ist derzeit aufgrund der aktuellen Lage nicht möglich. Stattdessen werden Sie zu ihrem gewählten Thema aus Online-Quellen ein Korpus zusammenstellen, z.B. aus Blogs, Vlogs und Youtube-Videos, und mit diesem arbeiten.
Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, dass Sie in Partnerarbeit ein eigenes Forschungsprojekt durchführen.

Vor dem Besuch dieses Seminars sollten Sie die Veranstaltung "Forschungsmethoden in der empirischen Fremdsprachenforschung" besucht haben. Forschungsmethodische Grundkenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Transkribieren werden vorausgesetzt.

Sie werden in dieser Veranstaltung ein eigenes Forschungsprojekt in Partnerarbeit durchführen, die Studie planen, ein Korpus erstellen und diese mit Grounded Theory oder Situational Analysis interpretieren. Am Ende des Semesters findet die Präsentation der Projekte statt.
