Seit 2019 hat die Adlerwarte Berlebeck mit der "Fliegenden Zooschule" eine Einrichtung geschaffen, in der pädagogische Angebote durchgeführt werden können. Die Schüler*innen haben so die Möglichkeit, verschiedenste thematische Schwerpunkte rund um das Thema Greifvögel zu erarbeiten.
Im Rahmen dieser Praxisstudie haben Studierende die Möglichkeit, Einblicke in die Zoopädagogik zu bekommen und Kleingruppen zu betreuen. So können Erfahrungen an einem außerschulischem Lernort gesammelt werden.
Der Kurs findet hauptsächlich vor Ort in der Adlerwarte statt. Neben grundlegenden Vorbereitungssitzungen finden auch zusätzlich Kurse mit Schüler*innen statt, die durch Studierende, zusammen mit der Kursleitung, betreut und anschließend reflektiert werden.
