Caesars Kommentar schildert die Ereignisse, die zum Bürgerkrieg zwischen ihm und Pompeius führten. Im Seminar wollen wir uns damit beschäftigen, wie Caear seine Figuren gestaltet, wie er die Leser lenkt und seine Selbstdarstellung inszeniert.
Flankiert wird das Seminar mit Ausschnitten aus der Serie Rom sowie antiken Zeugnissen über diese Zeit.Das Seminar findet zum größten teil asynchron statt. Zoom-Sitzungen werden stattfinden, aber erst später im Semester.
