Lektüre griechischer Texte aus Herodot. Ziele, Methoden und Interessen des Autors sollen sichtbar werden.
Texte werden im Lernraum zur Verfügung gestellt.

Contents, comment

Cicero nennt Herodot den „Vater der Geschichte“ bzw. Geschichtsschreibung. Seine Historien behandeln den Konflikt zwischen Persern und Griechen, darüber hinaus bietet er im ersten Teil Einblicke in die Geschichte der Perser und die Völker, auf welche die persische Expansion traf.
Gelesen werden soll eine Auswahl von Texten, anhand deren Ziele, Methoden, Interessen des Autors deutlich werden. Die griechischen Vorlagen werden im Lernraum zur Verfügung gestellt. Für Erklärungen eignen sich darüber hinaus die Schulausgaben von Buchner (von Robert Köhler) und Aschendorff (von Joseph Borgmann).
