Cognitive abilities change over the lifespan. Age-related changes in cognition cooccur with alterations and deteriorations in neural structures and functions. In this course, we will learn about cognitive changes in aging in different domains (e.g. attention, memory, executive functions) and discuss neuro-cognitive theories of aging that account for general age-related changes and individual differences in cognitive lifespan trajectories.
Das Seminar richtet sich an M.Sc. Hauptfachstudierende, mit Basiswissen in Neurowissenschaften.
