Es werden keine Bachelorarbeiten vergeben.
Inhalt der Veranstaltung ist die Gruppenkohomologie. Grundlagen werden von den Veranstaltern in Form einer Vorlesung angeboten. Anwendungen und Beispiele sollen in Form von Vorträgen durch die Teilnehmer präsentiert werden.
Grundlagen umfassen das Konzept der abelschen Kategorien und der delta-Funktoren sowie Beispiele wie etwa die Ext- und Tor-Funktoren und Gruppenkohomologie. Weiterhin werden als Grundlagen G-Prinzipalbündel, Vektorbündel und klassifizierende Räume behandelt.
Anwendungen und Beispiele umfassen die Bar-Konstruktion, Kohomologie zyklischer Gruppen, Galoiskohomologie (Hilbert 90), Brauergruppen von Körpern, Severi-Brauer Varietäten, Galoisabstieg, Eilenberg-MacLane Räume, Grassmann-Mannigfaltigkeiten und topologische K-Theorie.
