Gemeinsam werden Grundlagen der Metaanalyse, verschiedene Techniken und Strategien bei der Durchführung einer Metaanalyse und ihre Anwendung erarbeitet, vermittelt und umgesetzt.
In der Arbeitsatmosphäre kurzer Workshops mit Vorträgen der Dozentin und Studierender, Gruppen- und Einzelübungen behandeln wir folgende Themen:
Idee, Grundlagen und Geschichte metaanalytischer Techniken
Effektstärken und ihre Bedeutung für Metaanalysen
Praktische Durchführung:
systematische Literaturrecherche und -Verwaltung, Kodierung von Primärstudien, statistische Analyse, Auswertung und Interpretation der Ergebnisse, Evaluation des Vorgehens.
Im Laufe des Seminars führen Studierende in Gruppen zu einem gewählten Thema eine eigenen Mini-Metaanalyse durch.
Am Ende der Veranstaltung sind Studierende dazu befähigt metaanalytische Ergebnisse zu interpretieren und evaluieren, eigene Metaanalysen durchzuführen, sowie für das Studium relevante Arbeitstechniken versiert anzuwenden (Literaturrecherche, -rezeption, -verwaltung.

Dieser Workshop richtet sich an alle Studierenden, die Techniken der Metaanalyse kennen lernen und besser verstehen wollen. Erwünschte Vorkenntnisse sind die Vorlesungen Statistik I und II.

Die regelmäßige aktive Teilnahme (2 LP) setzt neben der Teilnahme an den praktischen Übungen im Seminar und dem Gestalten eines Kurzreferats (20 min.) auch Literaturrecherchen, Kodierungsarbeit oder Literaturerarbeitung im Unfang ca. 1 Stunde wöchentlich zu Hause voraus.
