300451 Kritische Theorie der Politik - MA (S) (SoSe 2020)

Hat sich der Begriff der Kritischen Theorie (häufig mit großem K) zunächst auf die Frankfurter Schule und dabei zuweilen auch nur auf deren erste Generation bezogen, so lässt sich in der jüngeren Theoriegeschichte eine Pluralisierung kritischer Theorien (dann häufig mit kleinem k) verzeichnen. Während in der älteren Kritischen Theorie die Rolle der Politik nicht zentral zu sein schien, lässt sich mit Blick auf die Vielfalt jüngerer kritischer Theorien vielleicht sogar von einem political turn kritischer Theorie sprechen. Der jüngst bei Suhrkamp erschienene Sammelband Kritische Theorie der Politik bietet eine umfassende Bestandsaufnahme dieser kritischen politischen Theorien. Das Seminar wird der Lektüre und Diskussion ausgewählter Beiträge aus diesem Band dienen.
