Gerechtigkeit ist einer der zentralen Werte unseres Zusammenlebens. Dementsprechend reagieren wir sehr empfindlich darauf, wenn wir ungerecht behandelt werden. Doch darüber was eine gerechte Behandlung auszeichnet, gehen die Meinungen häufig auseinander. Sowohl in der Ethik als auch in der politischen Philosophie ist die Verständigung darüber, was Gerechtigkeit ist, und insbesondere die Frage, wodurch sich eine gerechte Verteilung auszeichnet, seit jeher Gegenstand intensiver Diskussion. Im Seminar werden wir historische und zeitgenössische Positionen innerhalb dieser Debatte kennenlernen und diskutieren. In einem anwendungsbezogenen Themenblock werden wir abschließend über Gerechtigkeit im Gesundheitssystem und das Problem der gerechten Organverteilung nachdenken. Für das Seminar sind keinerlei Vorkenntnisse notwendig.
