Anhand ausgewählter Berichte von Literaten, die ihre Sucht beschrieben haben, soll im Seminar zunächst ein phänomenologisches Verständnis von Sucht über die Innenperspektive und Lebenswelt der Betroffenen nahe gebracht werden.
Das Seminar beschäftigt sich darüber hinaus mit kulturhistorischen und sozialwissenschaftlichen Aspekten und stellt zentrale klinische und sozialpsychologische Diskurse in der Sucht und ihre Bedeutung für die Beratungspraxis dar. Das der Suchthilfe zugrunde liegende Beratungsverständnis und Probleme, die sich hieraus für die Praxis ergeben, sollen beleuchtet und diskutiert werden.
