In der Grundschule finden sehr unterschiedliche Texte Verwendung. Das betrifft unter anderem kurze literarische Formen, die in dieser Hinsicht zum Teil eine lange Tradition haben, wie das Märchen oder die Fabel, aber zum Beispiel auch den Comic, das betrifft ebenso Sachtexte, etwa kurze informative Texte, Tagebucheinträge, Werbeanzeigen und vieles mehr. Solche Texte bieten den Kindern erste Leseerfahrungen und können zugleich Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Aktivitäten im Unterricht sein. Ziel des Kurses ist es, einen Überblick über verschiedene Formen kurzer Texte und ihre charakteristischen Merkmale zu erarbeiten, ihr spezifisches Potenzial für den Unterricht in der Grundschule auszuloten und an Beispielen zu konkretisieren.
