This seminar focuses at global dimensions of social policy making with a particular focus on the activities and advice by international organisations. We explore global social governance as emerging through the mandates and prescriptions of the World Bank, ILO, WHO, OECD, and others. Furthermore, we study their inter-relations and architecture of arguments. We explore these issues into different social policy fields.
The seminar will be comprised of a mix between flexible learning units and zoom sessions. (No sessions in person!)
Requirements:
A very good command of English is necessary as all literature, lectures, presentations and discussions will be held in English.
