Die Vorlesung „Einführung in die neurokognitive Psychologie“ richtet sich primär an BSc Hauptfachstudierende, die das Anwendungsfach „Neurowissenschaften“ gewählt haben. Grundlegende Kenntnisse in Allgemeiner Psychologie, Physiologischer Psychologie und Methodenlehre werden vorausgesetzt. Thematisch werden die Schwerpunkte in den Feldern Wahrnehmung, Gedächtnis, Bewegungssteuerung und Aufmerksamkeit liegen. Neben klassisch experimentalpsychologischen Forschungsarbeiten sollen auch Studien aus dem Bereich der Kognitiven Neurowissenschaften und der Künstlichen Intelligenz/Robotik vorgestellt werden.
