In der zweistündigen Übung werden französische Originaltexte des Philosophen Michel Foucault gelesen.
Auf inhaltlicher Ebene geht es darum zu erfahren, was das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten und Denkens Foucaults ausmacht. Es soll insbesondere nach Anwendungsmöglichkeiten von Foucaults Überlegungen für historische Quellenanalysen gesucht werden. Quellen der Alten Geschichte werden dabei im Mittelpunkt stehen.
Auf sprachlicher Ebene sollen u.a. Texterschließungsstrategien besprochen und angewendet werden, die es den Studierenden ermöglichen einen sprachlichen Zugang zu wissenschaftlichen Texten im Französischen zu erhalten.

Vorausgesetzt werden Basiskenntnisse im Französischen (mind. 2 Lernjahre) und die Bereitschaft, Texte im Original auch vorbereitend zu lesen.
