Stata ist die an der Fakultät für Soziologie vorrangig genutzte statistische Analysesoftware. Das Seminar dient der vertiefenden Einführung in die Arbeit mit dem Programm. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, grundlegende Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Stata zu vermitteln und die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern bei einem erfolgreichen Abschluss in die Lage zu versetzen, selbstständig Daten aufbereiten und grundlegende statistische Analysen durchführen zu können.
!!! Der Kurs richtet sich an die Studierenden der Master-Studiengänge, die von einer anderen Hochschule an unsere Fakultät gewechselt sind und bislang mit einer anderen Analysesoftware gearbeitet haben. !!!

Grundlegende Statistik-Kenntnisse, wie sie in der Vorlesung "Statistik I" vermittelt werden.
