Science is a form of culture and it interacts with other types of culture. In the seminar, we will discuss various approaches to study science as culture. Among these are the concepts of epistemic cultures and of knowledge society; the role of media; the industrial, or applied, context; knowledge transformation between regions; and the impact of religion.
