Diese Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick über die zentralen Themen der Organisationspsychologie und zwar das Individuum in der Organisation (z.B. Personalauswahl und -beurteilung), Gruppenprozesse (z.B. Konflikte, Führung) sowie die Organisationsstruktur (z.B. Organisationskultur, Organisationsentwicklung).

Der Inhalt der Veranstaltung ist für die Basis-, Vertiefungs- und Nebenfachprüfungen in Diplomstudiengängen sowie für das Modul O in den Studiengängen BSc- und das Modul 5 BA-NF Psychologie relevant.
Die Vorlesung ist auch für den individuellen Ergänzungsbereich anderer Fächer geöffnet. Es gibt für die aktive Teilnahme 2 Leistungspunkte, diese werden durch Beantwortung je einer Frage in Stud-IP zu einer Vorlesungssitzung erworben. Maximal 150 Plätze können im Rahmen der individuellen Ergänzung belegt werden.
