El seminario examina la manera específica en que el tiempo se ha configurado en algunos lugares específicos de las Américas. Dicha configuración es el resultado de múltiples interacciones entre diferentes sistemas y elementos que se constituyen históricamente. Dentro de estos elementos el seminario se centrará en la manera en que las teorías y determinados discursos dan forma a dicha configuración a través de los medios quienes son los que imponen las condiciones de posibilidad. Con el análisis de estos dos elementos, se pretende señalar las temporalidades y regímenes de tiempo que en las Américas tuvieron lugar.
