In der Veranstaltung werden zentrale Fragestellungen des Geometrieunterrichts in der Grundschule behandelt. Wichtige Inhaltsbereiche sowie (inhaltsbezogene und prozessbezogene) Lernziele des Geometrieunterrichts in den Klassen 1 bis 4 werden erörtert und an ausgewählten Fragen exemplarisch vertieft. Themen sind u.a. geometrische Begriffsbildung, ebene und räumliche Figuren, Symmetrie und Abbildungen,
Dreiecks- und Viereckslehre. An den inhaltlichen Themen werden gezielt Möglichkeiten zur Förderung allgemeiner Lernziele diskutiert. Für einen konkreten Praxisbezug sorgt ein Geometrie-Spieletag am 26.04.2017 von 14-16 Uhr, der in der Brüder-Grimm-Schule in Wiedenbrück durchgeführt wird.
