250300 Theoretische Zugänge zu praktischen Herausforderungen im Jugendamt (BS) (SoSe 2018)

Im Seminar werden die rechtlichen Grundlagen des SGB VIII dargestellt und Einblicke in die Organisation und Aufgaben der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe vertiefend bearbeitet. Die Stellung der Sozialen Dienste des Jugendamtes wird im Gesamtsystem der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe, insbesondere der Wandel von der versorgenden zur aktivierenden Institution, näher beleuchtet.
Durch Wissensvermittlung, wie dem Erkennen, Beurteilen und Handeln bei Verdacht auf Kindeswohlgefährdung und der Anwendung des system-theoretischen Ansatzes, soll Handlungssicherheit in der Vorbereitung auf die Praxis der Sozialen Arbeit geschaffen werden.
Abschließend werden veränderte Aufgabengebiete und die damit verbundenen neuen Herausforderungen im Kinderschutz, wie Inklusion und Migration, betrachtet und ein Ausblick auf mögliche Reformen gegeben.
