Didaktik fragt mit einem 'Warum' nach Begründungszusammenhängen. Dementsprechend geht es in der einführenden Vorlesung darum, zu erkunden, welche Absichten mit dem Fach Sachkunde verfolgt werden, in welchen bildungspolitischen Zusammenhängen das Fach betrieben wird, welche Fachbezüge es rahmen und nach welchen Prämissen es unterrichtet werden kann bzw. sollte. In welcher Weise die Forschungsdisziplin einer Didaktik des Sachunterrichts das Fach reflektiert und wie das auf das Unterrichten zurückwirkt ist ebenso Gegenstand wie ein Blick auf die Geschichte des Sachunterrichts. All das soll Impuls sein, darüber nachzudenken, was Sachunterricht eigentlich ist, sein kann und sein sollte.

Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse nötig, nur Neugier und die Bereitschaft zum Mitdenken werden vorausgesetzt.
