Dieses Einführungsseminar setzt sich mit grundlegenden Aufgabenbereichen des LehrerInnenberufs sowie mit den Grundlagen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens bzw. Schreibens auseinander.
Dabei werden folgende Themen zentrale Inhalte des Seminars darstellen und einen Überblick über die Vielfalt des LehrerInnenberufs geben sowie eine erste Vorbereitung auf die OPSE:
Universitäre Lehramtsausbildung/Berufswahlmotive/ Erwartungen und Anforderungen an den LehrerInnenberuf
Lern- und Lebenswelt Schule
10 Merkmale guten Unterrichts
Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten an der Universität

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
Im Einführungsseminar kann eine Studienleistung erbracht werden. Grundsätzlich wird eine aktive Teilnahme an Diskussionen und Gesprächen im Seminar erwartet. Durch eine regelmäßige Teilnahme entfällt die größtenteils selbstständge Erarbeitung von Inhalten für die Mini-Hausarbeit, da diese im Seminar besprochen und somit vorbereitet werden.
Im Rahmen des Seminars wird eine Mini-Hausarbeit vorbereitet und in einem Peer-Feedback besprochen. Anschließend soll die Arbeit auf Grundlage des Feedbacks überarbeitet werden.
