This course is designed to introduce first-year students to the basics of U.S. American literary studies. Students will be introduced to different literary genres – poetry, drama/film, and narrative – and will learn to critically use key terms and methods in the analysis of a variety of thought-provoking U.S. American literary texts. Please note that the first session of this class will take place April 19!
