In der Vorlesung entwicklen die Studierenden ein Verständnis der grundlegenden Argumente und Techniken der projektiven und affinen Geometrie sowie der grundlegenden Konzepte der Differentialgeometrie von Kurven und Flächen.

Etwas abweichend vom Modulhandbuch werden wir die affine Geometrie nicht getrennt von der projektiven Geometrie behandeln, sondern im ersten Teil der Veranstaltung beide gemeinsam auf axiomatischer Grundlage entwickeln. Der zweite Teil ist dann der sphärischen und hyperbolischen Geometrie gewidmet, der dritte Teil der elementaren Differentialgeometrie von Kurven und Flächen. Dabei beschränken wir uns meist auf zwei- und dreidimensionale Räume. Zur Veranschaulichung benutzen wir das Programm Geogebra.
