Class work will concentrate both on increasing students' word power, using Rowling's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which I strongly advise students to read before term starts. The other major class activity will be to analyse the Modern English vocabulary, based on A Survey of Modern English (see below for details of both books)
