This course is intended to give exam candidates (Sek I, Sek II, Mag.) an opportunity to gain experience in the forms and level of performance demanded in the language part of the written exam. The work in this class will be based largely on tasks set in former exams and will be conducted virtually with only an initial and irregular intermediate classroom sessions. Regular translation work will be assigned and collected and a model translation with annotations will be provided. Writing assignments will also be assigned and individually assessed. Listening and Points of Usage will be dealt with virtually. In the course of the semester a mock exam will be written, collected, assessed and returned.
The course is addressed only to students preparing to take the exam in the spring or summer of 2005.
