Die Veranstaltung setzt das Praktikumsseminar des vergangenen Wintersemesters fort, ist aber auch für Neueinsteiger geöffnet. Gegenstand des Seminars ist die Erarbeitung von Beiträgen zu einer Stadtgeschichte der Stadt Lage (Lippe), die im Sommer publiziert werden sollen. Während im Wintersemester das Berufsfeld Archiv im Zentrum des Seminars stand, wird der Schwerpunkt der Arbeit im Sommersemester auf der Herstellung der Publikation liegen - von der Erstellung eines druckreifen Manuskripts bis zu Übergabe fertiger Druckvorlagen in die Druckerei. Die Studierenden werden im Seminar Gelegenheit haben, die Arbeit eines kleinen Verlages in der Praxis kennenzulernen und wichtige Techniken der EDV-gestützten Erstellung von Druckvorlagen selbst auszuprobieren.
