220122 Die Praxis demokratischen Regierens in Europa und Nordamerika 1830-1930 (Parlamente, Wahlrechte, Verfassungen) (V+Ü) (WiSe 2017/2018)

Diese Veranstaltung („Historische Orientierung“) bildet mit dem Seminar 220019 „Demokratie und Demokratiekritik in Europa und Nordamerika 1830-1930“ ein Modul und dient vor allem dazu, das verfassungs- und institutionengeschichtliche Kontextwissen zu erarbeiten, um die demokratietheoretischen Positionen, die im Seminar diskutiert werden, besser einordnen und verstehen zu können. Ein separater Besuch nur der „Historischen Orientierung“ ist zwar möglich, aber nur bedingt sinnvoll, weil beide veranstaltungen eng miteinander verzahnt sein werden. Wie im Seminar wird auch hier regelmäßige Teilnahme und die Bereitschaft, sich mit fremdsprachigen Texten auseinanderzusetzen, erwartet.
