In der Veranstaltung werden wir uns mit Manuskripten des 16./17. Jahrhunderts und des frühen 19. Jahrhunderts befassen. Der Schwerpunkt der Veranstaltung wird dabei auf der Paläographie liegen. Sie werden also exemplarisch lernen, wie man sich handschriftlichen Texten der Vormoderne nähert und diese transkribiert. Darüber hinaus werden wir gemeinsam eine inhaltliche und formale Kontextualisierung der Manuskripte erarbeiten. Nicht zuletzt sollen - auch im Rahmen einer Exkursion - die Institutionen in den Blick genommen werden, die sich professionell mit solchen Texten beschäftigen, diese bewahren und ausstellen (Archiv, Museum, Bibliothek).
Achtung: Aufgrund der großen Zahl der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer, werden wir den größeren Teil der Veranstaltung in Blocksitzungen an drei Samstagen durchführen.
