Sprachlernberatung kann eine sinnvolle Unterstützung und Hilfestellung beim Lernen von Fremdsprachen bieten, indem sie den individuellen Lerner und seine spezifischen Bedürfnisse und Anliegen in den Blick nimmt. An immer mehr Institutionen werden Beratungsangebote in verschiedenen Formen geschaffen und auch innerhalb der Sprachlehr- und -lernforschung stellen Sprachlernberatungen (oder Sprachlerncoaching) ein interessantes Forschungsfeld dar.
In diesem Seminar werden zunächst Kenntnisse über Beratungskonzepte und ihre theoretischen Hintergründe, Ziele und Organisationsformen der Lernberatung, Gesprächs- und Beratungstechniken etc. erworben werden. Darauf aufbauend werden empirische Arbeiten vorgestellt und diskutiert. Im Rahmen von Simulationen sollen zudem erste eigene Beratungserfahrungen gesammelt werden.
