Jedes fünfte Kind leidet unter dauerhaften Gesundheitseinschränkungen, welche die Teilnahme am Sportunterricht und an Bewegungsaktivitäten in der Freizeit beeinträchtigen können. Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Studierende, die mehr Sicherheit im Umgang mit diesen Kindern gewinnen möchten. Die häufigsten Krankheitsbilder aus den Bereichen der Neurologie, Psychiatrie, Psychosomatik, Suchtbehandlung, Orthopädie, Onkologie und innerer Medizin werden vorgestellt. Es wird geklärt, welche sportlichen Aktivitäten bei den jeweiligen Erkrankungen besonders förderlich sein können und welche mit eventuellen Risiken verbunden sind. Den Studierenden wird die Wahl überlassen, ob die Veranstaltung einen rein theoretischen Rahmen hat oder ob auf jede theoretische Einführung eine praktische Einheit folgt.
