Das Projekt zielt auf die Weiterentwicklung eines bestehenden drahtlosen Körpersensors ab.
Dabei ist die Bearbeitung unterschiedlicher Themenfelder (Sensorik, Signalverarbeitung, Funkkommunikation) in den Bereichen der Hard- und Softwareentwicklung möglich:

· Evaluation körpernaher Sensorik zur Messung von Biosignalen bzw. Vitalparametern (z.B. EKG, elektrodermale Aktivität, Bioimpedanz, Elektromyografie, …) sowie von inertialen Sensoren zur Erfassung kinematischer Daten (z.B. Bewegungsabläufe im Sport).

· Entwicklung und Benchmarking von Algorithmen zur Segmentierung, Klassifikation oder Kompression von Biosignalen.

· Softwareentwicklung zur Analyse und Darstellung aufgezeichneter Parameter.

· Vergleich verschiedener Funkkommunikationsstandards im Kontext der Körpersensorik (body sensor networks, BSN).

Im Rahmen des Projektes sollen Teilaspekte in kleinen Gruppen oder von Einzelpersonen bearbeitet werden.

The project aims at the further development of an existing wireless body sensor.
Thereby, it is possible to work on different topics (sensor technology, signal processing, radio communication) in the areas of hardware and software development:

- Evaluation of wearable sensors close to the body for the measurement of biosignals or vital parameters (e.g. ECG, electrodermal activity, bioimpedance, electromyography, ...) as well as inertial sensors for the acquisition of kinematic data (e.g. motion sequences in sports).

- Development and benchmarking of algorithms for segmentation, classification or compression of biosignals

- Software development for analysis and display of recorded parameters

- Comparison of different radio communication standards in the context of body sensor networks (BSN)

Within the scope of the project, partial aspects will be worked on in small groups or by individuals.

Requirements for participation, required level

Je nach Interessenlage sind Kenntnisse in Sensorik, Signalverarbeitung oder Mustererkennung sowie Programmierkentnisse (C, C++, Matlab) von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung.
