Bei der Vorlesung Entwicklungspsychologie handelt es sich um eine zweisemestrige Lehrveranstaltung. Im ersten Semester werden Theorien zur Entwicklungspsychologie vorgestellt (u.a. lerntheoretische, kognitionspsychologische, informationsverarbeitungstheoretische und biogenetische Entwicklungskonzeptionen). Im Anschluss werden Entwicklungsveränderungen in verschiedenen Lebensabschnitten dargestellt. Im Kleinkindalter stehen dabei zunächst die Entwicklung von Wahrnehmung, Motorik und sozialer Interaktion (Eltern-Kind-Interaktion und Bindung) im Vordergrund. Es folgen Darstellungen zu Lernen, Gedächtnis, Sprache, Moral und Geschlechtstypisierung (vor allem bezogen auf das Kindes- und Jugendalter) sowie zu Anwendungen der Entwicklungspsychologie.

Aktive Teilnahme: Beantwortung von Fragen zum Vorlesungsstoff.
In allen anderen Fällen: Teilnahme an einer Klausur zum Vorlesungsstoff.
Bei einer Individuellen Ergänzung von Studierenden anderer Fächer bzw. von BSc-Studierenden im Modul J werden 2 bzw. 3 Leistungspunkte für eine aktive Teilnahme vergeben. Bei unbenoteten bzw. benoteten Einzelleistungen werden 3 bzw. 4 Leistungspunkte vergeben (Voraussetzung: Teilnahme an einer Abschlussklausur).
