220055 Klassische Texte zur Theorie und Geschichte des Kapitalismus (S) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Contents, comment

"Kapitalismus" ist in aller Munde. Aber was genau ist Kapitalismus? Im Seminar werden wir dieser Frage durch die Lektüre klassischer Texte aus dem 18., 19. und 20. Jahrhundert nachgehen. Dabei stehen vor allem historisch angelegte Interpretationen im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung, d. h. solche, die die Frage nach der E n t s t e h u n g des Kapitalismus in den Blick nehmen. Seine modernen Ausprägungen werden dagegen nur am Rande thematisiert. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist die Bereitschaft zur regelmäßigen und intensiven Lektüre mitunter sperriger historischer Texte.
