230116 „The Power of Goodbye“: Abschiedskultur und Vermittlung (Bild, Objekt und Klang) (S) (SoSe 2024)

Durch Musik werden Gefühle zum Ausdruck gebracht und Erlebnisse verarbeitet. In der Kunst- sowie Popmusik finden sich unzählige Beispiele für die Verarbeitung der Themen „Abschied“ und „Trauer“. In diesem Seminar werden schwerpunktmäßig Stücke unterschiedlicher Genres in den Blick genommen und nach dem Zusammenhang von Inhalt und musikalischer Gestaltung analysiert. Die Fragen, welche Rolle Musik im Kontext der Abschiedskultur spielt und welches Vermittlungspotenzial die ausgewählten Stücke mitbringen, werden im Plenum beantwortet. Darüber hinaus werden kulturelle Orte und Kunstwerke zum Thema Tod und Abschied im Seminarverlauf Berücksichtigung finden.
