Contents, comment

Stoffe, Dinge und Objekte sind seit jeher Gegenstände der historischen Forschung. Im Zuge des so genannten material turns und der sich weiter ausdifferenzierenden material culture studies sind in den letzten Jahren jedoch einige Arbeitsfelder entstanden, die innerhalb der Wissenschafts- und Technikgeschichte neue Fragestellungen aufgeworfen haben. Die Veranstaltung versteht sich als Einführung und Historische Orientierung innerhalb dieses heterogenen Forschungsbereiches.
