This research colloquium facilitates exchange between advanced Master students, PhD students and Postdocs working in the philosophy of the life sciences (and in related areas). In most meetings we discuss our own work-in-progress papers as well as papers of other philosophers that are relevant to our research. There is also room for discussing grant applications, trying out research talks, simulating job interviews and discussing questions about academic career paths.
This colloquium will be held in a hybrid format. You can attend either in person at the university or digital from homeoffice. All participants in person will sit in the same room at the university but they will individually participate in the Zoom meeting where also the digital participants are.
If you are interested in participating, please send an email to Marie I. Kaiser (kaiser.m@uni-bielefeld.de).

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
