Das Seminar dient der Einführung in theoretische Grundlagen der Didaktik der beruflichen Bildung. Ein besonderes Augenmerk soll auf den Bereich der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung Erwachsener gerichtet werden, indem grundlegende Kenntnisse, spezielle didaktische Zugänge zu dieser Zielgruppe und deren Bedeutung für pädagogische Handlungsprozesse thematisiert werden. Hierfür wird sich neben den zentralen didaktischen Zugängen der beruflichen Bildung (Azubifirma, Lehrwerkstätten, E-Learning Angebote, Zukunftswerkstatt…) unteranderem mit den Strukturen der beruflichen Ausbildungs- und Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten, sowie den übergeordneten Einrichtungen IHK, HWK und den zuständigen Bundesministerien befasst. Auch werden zahlreiche didaktische Lehr- und Lernmethoden konkret im Seminar innerhalb von Gruppenarbeits- und Projektlernphasen erlernt und erprobt.

Das Seminar richtet sich vorwiegend an Studierende, die sich mit der Didaktik der beruflichen Bildung Erwachsener befassen möchten.
