Das Projekt zielt auf die Weiterentwicklung eines bestehenden drahtlosen Körpersensors ab.
Dabei ist die Bearbeitung unterschiedlicher Themenfelder möglich:

- Sensorik
EKG, Inertialsensoren, akustische Sensoren etc.

- Signalverarbeitung
Steuerungsgesten, Klassifikation und Mustererkennung, Kompression

- Funkkommunikation
Bluetooth Low Energy, Ultra Breitband, Sensornetzwerk, BSN (body sensor networks)

- Hardware Erweiterungen
Modulare Erweiterungen zur Erweiterung des Funktionsumfangs

- System Erweiterungen
Hardwarenahe Programmierung, bspw. von Treibern zur Einbindung eines Flashbausteins zum Loggen von Ereignissen

Im Rahmen des Projektes sollen Teilaspekte in kleinen Gruppen oder von Einzelpersonen bearbeitet werden

The project aims at the further development of an existing wireless body sensor.
In doing so, the processing of different topics is possible:

- Sensor technology
ECG, inertial sensors, acoustic sensors, etc.

- signal processing
Control gestures, classification and pattern recognition, compression

- Radio communication
Bluetooth Low Energy, Ultra-wideband, Sensor network, BSN (body sensor networks)

- Hardware extensions
Modular extensions to extend the range of functions

- System extensions
Hardware-related programming, e.g. of drivers for the integration of a flash module for the logging of events.

Within the scope of the project, sub-aspects are to be worked on in small groups or by individuals.

Requirements for participation, required level

Je nach Interessenlage sind Kenntnisse in Sensorik, Signalverarbeitung oder Mustererkennung sowie Programmierkentnisse (C, C++, Matlab) von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung.
