Nietzsche hat mit seinem Werk „Zur Genealogie der Moral“ eine einflussreiche Kritik an der etablierten Moral (Kant, Schopenhauer) geübt. Neben dem Versuch, ein alternatives Wertesystem zu etablieren, finden sich im Werk auch interessante Überlegungen zur Genese von Strafe, Schuld und Gewissen. Im Seminar soll vor allem der Frage nachgegangen werden, inwieweit Nietzsches Überlegungen überzeugen können.
Die Veranstaltung schließt an meine Seminare zu Kants und Schopenhauers Ethik aus den letzten beiden Semestern an. Ein Besuch der gesamten Veranstaltungsreihe ist wünschenswert, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.
Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung können maximal 15 Hausarbeiten geschrieben werden.
