Tanz bietet eine Fülle von Aspekten, die von hoher Relevanz für die Neuro-, Kognitions- und Bewegungswissenschaft sind: das Lernen komplexer Bewegungsabläufe und langer Bewegungssequenzen, das Arbeiten mit Bewegungsvorstellungen, Koordination gemeinsamer Bewegung, Integration von Bewegung und Musik oder Rhythmus, sowie Improvisation und das kreative Gestalten von Bewegung. In diesem Seminar wird aktuelle Forschung zu diesen Aspekten vorgestellt. Empirische Ansätze und theoretische Modelle werden vermittelt und reflektiert, die zugrundeliegenden Iden werden in tänzerischen Bewegungsübungen und eigenen „Experimenten“ praktisch umgesetzt und weiterentwickelt.
