Spiritualität ist ein Begriff, der in den vergangenen Jahren als Selbstbezeichnung Verbreitung fand und der auch zunehmend in der wissenschaftlichen Diskussion an Bedeutung gewonnen hat. In diesem Seminar möchten wir diesen viel verwendeten Begriff aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven betrachten: Welche Erlebnisse werden als „spirituell“ bezeichnet? Wie werden solche Erlebnisse beschrieben? Welche Forschungsinstrumente liegen vor zur Erfassung von Spiritualität? Wie sieht Spiritualität aus der Sicht vorliegender Skalen aus?
Insbesondere hat das Seminar das Ziel, auf eine mögliche Mitarbeit an unserem laufenden deutsch-amerikanischen Forschungsprojekt über Spritualität vorzubereiten und darum die Forschungsfragen und –methoden, die das aktuelle „Spiritualität“-Projekt strukturieren, kennenzulernen. Das Seminar soll jedenfalls auf eigene Forschung, bzw. Projekte forschenden Lernens vorbereiten und entsprechende Kompetenzen vermitteln.
