261009 Einführung in die Methodenlehre (V) (WiSe 2007/2008)

Die Veranstaltung stellt den wissenschaftsphilosophischen Teil des Einführungsmoduls des Masterstudiengangs "Wissenschaftsforschung/History, Philosophy and Sociology of Science" dar, richtet sich aber zugleich an die BA-Studierenden in der Philosophie. Sie dient dem Erwerb von Grundkenntnissen zu epistemischen Strategien und methodologischen Charakteristika der Wissenschaft und umfasst fünf Inhaltsbereiche:
- Empirische Prüfung und Bestätigung in der methodologischen Tradition
- Theoriebeladenheit der Beobachtung
- Wissenschaftliche Bestätigung
- Wissenschaftlicher Wandel - Wissenschaft im Wandel
Im Einzelnen werden sowohl aus historischem wie aus systematischem Blickwinkel Verfahren zur Sicherung wissenschaftlicher Geltungsansprüche und Methoden zur Identifikation von Kausalbeziehungen vorgestellt. Darüber hinaus werden die wichtigsten Konzeptionen der Beschaffenheit von Erklärungen und des Theorienwandels erörtert sowie die Rolle von Wertvorgaben in der Wissenschaft diskutiert.
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung (BA- oder Master of Ecucation-Studiengang) wird ausgestellt für regelmäßige Teilnahme sowie die Bearbeitung von Aufgaben oder zwei Kurzessays.
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung (Master-Studiengang HPSS) wird ausgestellt für schriftliches Bearbeiten von Aufgaben.
Ein Leistungsnachweis (Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) wird ausgestellt für
eine Hausarbeit.

BA-Studiengang: Abschluss des ersten Studienjahres.
Magister- und Lehramts-Studiengänge: Zwischenprüfung.
