Die Reggio-Pädagogik ist ein pädagogischer Ansatz, dessen Anfänge sich bis zum Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts zurückverfolgen lassen. Seit ca. 1970 hat dieser Ansatz insbesondere im Elementarbereich weltweit Anerkennung gefunden.
Während viele pädagogische Ansätze den Anspruch haben, den richtigen Weg für die Erziehung der Kinder gefunden zu haben, zeigt die Reggio-Pädagogik Wege auf, um zu guten pädagogischen Entscheidungen zu kommen.
Auf der Basis erziehungsphilosophischer Grundannahmen, versuchen Vertreter*innen der Reggio-Pädagogik durch die Reflexion der Praxis, konstruktive Antworten auf die wesentlichen pädagogischen Fragen zu finden.
Nach der Vermittlung der grundlegenden Elemente der Reggio-Pädagogik bietet sich im Seminar die Möglichkeit, unterschiedliche Aspekte der Reggio-Pädagogik wie Partizipation, Erzieher*innen/Lehrer*innenrolle, Rechte, Projektarbeit etc. zu vertiefen.
