Im Grundkurs Linguistik werden die Grundkonzepte und Analysemethoden der Sprachwissenschaft vermittelt. Die Einführung umfasst alle Ebenen der sprachlichen Struktur: Phonetik, Phonologie, Morphologie, Syntax, Semantik und Pragmatik. Dabei werden verschiedene sprachliche Phänomene erläutert sowie gegewärtige Theorien eingeführt. Anhand von Beispielen des Deutschen und einfachen Beispielen aus den Sprachen der Welt werden die TeilnehmerInnen die Möglichkeit haben, die Grundkonzepte und Methoden der Sprachwissenschaft zu üben.
