220020 Zwischen „Handeln“ und „Struktur“: Praxeologische Zugänge in der Geschichtswissenschaft (GST) (SoSe 2022)

Was ist – und wozu dient überhaupt – historische Praxeologie? Als Theorie und Ansatz zur Erforschung sozialen Handelns in historischen Zusammenhängen fand sie in den letzten Jahrzehnten zunehmend Erwähnung. Aber ihr Werdegang und die Fundamente ihres Erkenntnisinteresses lassen sich deutlich zurückdatieren.

Das Seminar bietet eine Einführung in die sozialgeschichtliche Entwicklung praxeologischer Ansätze seit den 1980er Jahren. Neben der historiographischen Kontextualisierung der theoretisch-methodischen Diskussion werden insbesondere die epistemischen Grundlagen historischer Praxeologie und ihre Operationalisierung im Rahmen exemplarischer empirischer Untersuchungen behandelt.
