Das Seminar bereitet auf zwei Ebenen auf die Anforderungen des Praxissemesters vor: Zum einen werden ausgehend von älteren und jüngeren fachdidaktischen Studien mögliche Forschungsfelder für die Studienprojekte des Praxissemesters erarbeitet; quantitative und qualitative Zugänge werden exemplarisch mit ihren Erhebungs- und Auswertungsmethoden vorgestellt und diskutiert. Zum anderen greift das Seminar – anknüpfend an die Veranstaltungen des Bachelorstudiums - Fragen der Unterrichtsplanung und -gestaltung auf und ermöglicht den Studierenden so im Praxissemester den Zugriff auf Unterrichtsentwürfe, die nach Kriterien guten Geschichtsunterrichts gemeinsam erarbeitet wurden.
