Unter dem Begriff „Erlebnispädagogik“ lassen sich viele Ideen, Konzepte und Methoden verorten. Im Rahmen des Seminars beschäftigen wir uns im ersten Schritt mit den Wegbereitern der Erlebnispädagogik wie Kurt Hahn und John Dewey. Danach befassen wir uns mit verschiedenen Umsetzungen wie z.B. dem Schulkonzept des Internats Salem, Hochseilgärten und Jugendbildungsschiffen. Das ganze Seminar hindurch werden wir uns „kleine“ erlebnispädagogische Methoden und Übungen erarbeiten und diese anwenden.
